Fast flowers was founded in 1983. It started off in Fulham, and soon expanded into Chelsea.
In the 1990’s we left the world of retail and moved to a wonderfully spacious and light workshop in Battersea, that we love. It is just a stone-throw away from the flower market – so we can pick up flowers on a daily basis, ensuring our bouquets are seasonal and fresh.
The name of Fast Flowers is that of our online store. All our wedding, events and contract flowers are under the name of Mary Jane Vaughan, as are our funeral and sympathy flowers. You can link onto both from this website.
Mary Jane Vaughan comes from a flower growing family in Colombia, and her passion for flowers and design has inspired her and her team. Her style is simple, elegant and unfussy.
We believe in choosing the best flower and doing the least to it. No bows, no frills, ,no bouquet bags or cheap message cards.
That is probably why we have an ever growing client base that comes back to us year after year, hopefully inspired, too, by our love of nature and design.
